hahah im so guai i spent the whole week studying! okay maybe more like doing hmk but not bad already cos i didnt use my laptop (:
accomplished weeeekk: packed house, finished hmk, learnt many lessons in church that equip me for school, ready for school to start!

past few weeks ive learnt many many lessons from pastor. he's amazingggggg! sucha simple verse but he can read so deep in it and draw many wonderful lessons for us.
spent the first night of 2010 reflecting on pastor's msg and setting my own personal goals in my spiritual life this year.
to stand in hope and pray in faith. cos we ought to pray, and not to lose heart!
purpose fills hope and faith fills the power in prayer.

pastor's amazing. he said : as im preaching this word to you now, you might already have doubts.
i was like WOW how does he know man. lol
okay so many many things i wanna accomplish and keep in mind!
[different frm previous one cos this is specifically in my spiritual life. haha]

#1 to always keep in mind this phrase: stand in hope, pray in faith.
#2 read bible and grow in knowledge + read christian books.
#3 bring people to faith!
#4 be a good testimony to my friends and family.
#5 able to articulate my faith and not just a mere feeling.

i want 2010 to be a year of answered prayers. (:

im so happy with myself. i spent the whole afternoon packing the house today with mama! :D:D
although not fully done but i'll cont to pack them tmr.
sniffed in much dust, sweat, irritated cos i dont know how to pack properly, screamed at cockroaches but it feels so good at the end of the day cos i accomplished sth in my list of whatiwannadoafterpromos. another tick!
hahah dug out a lot of things that had been collecting dust for the past dont know how many years.
i saw my sec 2 history file! i almost thought it wasnt mine cos my handwriting changed so much! omgg i think my handwriting then was nicer man. so much neater and it srsly looks like it's printed.
saw my olevels year's work. all the files books and random scribbles of encouraging note from people and for myself everywheree as i thought about alevels next year.
my table is gonna be in amess and i can imagine myself pasting lots of postits on my table wall comp desk bed organizer toilet? lol

the year is coming to an end and i asked myself what have i done.
thought thru new year resolutions, things that i shld have/ shldnt have done this year and how am i gonna make next year better in just a few mins while bathing.

this is what i've come up with:

#1 im gonna be very focus in my studies (this is very broad so im going to break it down.)
- cannot be late for lectures/ tutorials anymore!
- complete all hmk without copying.
- no more sleeping in lectures
- do daily revision on lectures covered on that day
- clear doubts immediately when i dont understand anything

#2 be healthy! i think PE and cca is enough for exercise. need to eat more fruits /drink more fruit juice rather than bubbletea.

#3 more disciplined and spend more time with family. no more random and unneccessary outings/ stayovers.

#4 regular quiet time

#6 be wiser in choices

#5 lead a 24/7 christian life

anyone who finds me doing things that does not satisfy the above pls tellmeeeee.(:

whats christmas without bethany?
saw a guy wearing a watson shirt that says "whats christmas without watson?" and this qn came into my mind. haha
and another time i was walking along orchard road and i came upon 2 people who were giving out brochures about Christ's birth on christmas day. it struck me cos sales are everywhere in orchard and people seem to forget about jesus. this simple thing reminds us of what we are really celebrating for.
so wonderful to spend christmas every year meaningfully in bethany with God's people rejoicing for the King's birth! :D every year i have different things that i would like to thank God for during christmas day. amazing how He has brought me thru one year yet another and still continuing in His work. we celebrate christmas with a special sense of thanksgiving. a true meaning of christmas day and we share it with the world! (:

i feel sad when i see disabled people trying to earn a living on the streets.
i dont like rich people who think that everything can be bought with money and boast about it.
i miss laughing out loud.
as we grow older, we tend to be more selfish and scheming cos thats the world.
so many empty promises and i dont want to lose any trust.
i feel sad when people call themselves christians but dont live as one.

im back! had a very meaningful and eye opening trip at sydney.
very different from the sch trip i went at beijing when i was sec 2. more educational stuff and had reflections every night till late. sounds boring but i learnt alot of things that i can apply to my life.
of cos we visited a lot of tourist places like the sydney opera house, harbour city etc etc and dance classes at sydney dance company.
funnnnn and nice experience i had over there! :D

got back my re-exam results today. promotedddd! :D

this is one of the many times that i've actually felt this way but most of the time i just tried to sweep it away cos it'll just make me sad and think a lot and then after that conclude that you're a bad friend maybe coupled with some negative comments in my mind which can affect our friendship but i certainly dont want all the above to happen. it's not the big things that people do for you but rather, it's the small little things that shows how much they care for you. - such a thought worth thinking of.
sometimes we take for granted our family that we often dont realise their small little actions that can show how much they really love you. it can be as small as placing the blanket that you kicked away in the middle of the night back into position, afraid you might catch a cold, to sth big like maybe starve himself so that you can fill your stomach. hahah weird egs but you get what i mean.

some random thinking process while writing my previous para!
i realised that different people feel loved differently. thru physical touch, receiving presents/ sweet msgs, verbal expressions, or lil things pple do to you.
question is which category are you in?
interesting thought. some couples may fight/break up becos they dont know how their other half feel loved and therefore they dont know how to express their love for them the way the other party would want them to.
and sth to add on, what Ms Ng taught us during CT period. guys are more attracted to looks/appearance, basically physical appearance and they can just do something without putting any feelings in. whereas for girls, we are more drawn to feelings. thats the reason why you see more pretty girls getting together with not-so-handsome guys rather than the other way round. hahaa. or maybe girls are more insecured? afraid to lose their guys? hmmmm.

:D enlightened.

learnt something interesting today.
studying + doing well is God's given task to us. so our part is to complete the task, and do them well. not disappointing God but do it for God's sake, for His glory.
so imagine yourself failing God's task for you. it's not some usual hmk you have.
it's GOD'S HMK FOR YOU. so we cant just like anyhow do it without any effort and fail it right?
so, that's sth that adds on to my motivation to study even harder. :D

another thing that i learnt at ypg. three things/steps to keep in mind.
1. test
set tests for yourself. the idea here is to be different from the world.
2. triumph
joy upon knowing that you've made the right choice and passed the test
3. bearing good testimony
people see you as a good example of Christ

everything is made perfect in His time. God's plan is perfectly drawn out.
there are things we dont understand.
our brain is too finite that we dont understand God's infinite plan.
but He has reasons behind everything.
that's when we place our trust. (:

omgggg everyone's talking about retaining that it has kind of influenced me. im like starting to imagine myself being j1 all over again next year! IT ISNT SUPPOSED TO BE LIKE THIS. i believe that the more i think i will retain, the higher the chance that i will REALLY retain. okayyyy, now i must tell myself i wont retain. lol.

i dont know whether it's only me or everyone else feels this way too.
i find everyone is studying so hard that they have neglected God.
i admit i am, but trying to draw closer to Him in these tough times instead of the other way round.
today i heard someone in school trying to persuade his friend not to go to church on sunday so that they can study tgt. and the friend apparently agreed.

i've been failing a lot of tests! ytd chem test. another U perhaps? :/
and the thing is i studied very hard for the test and yet i think i will do badly for it. i hope i can pass at least!

chem-ed the whole day. thermochem, thermody, equilibrium. TEST
i woke up at 930am today! :D it's been a long time since i wake up at noon. i miss lazing on my bed for hours after i wake up and before i jump out of my bed. now is like wake up, see clock, RUSHHHH.
but im starting to like waking up early! the day will seem longer, and more fulfilling. (:

so today i stayed at home till about 2 plus 3 pm and i decided to go to school after looking at my chem notes and dont understand what are they saying. intended to consult ms Q but SHE WASNT aROUND. so i thot i went to school for nothing. but instead i thot of studying in school. saw ebe, soon after damian came along. damian is a smartie at thermochem! (only).- that's what he said. hahahah.

I STUDIED FOR 9 HOURS. not VERY productive though, but not bad eh.

did many donations. many fund raising efforts. raised a huge sum of money for the needy children within our neighbourhood.

i didnt run! wanted to though. brought my shoe and pe shirt but couldnt run. :/ regretted.
cos the atmosphere was super good for running! loud techno music, pple cheering for you EVERYWHERE, water supply to quench thirst.
heh i think the actual day will be even more exciting! cannot waittttt! XD
im so proud of people who ran more than 10km! i think practically almost everyone ran more than 10km!
i bet the feeling is damn good to know that you actually ran so much.
stayed back to cheer for people (: even for those that im not that close to.
i guess in that kind of atmosphere you'll just cheer for people whom you know them in face and name but have never talked to them before. amazing.

i just finished my first draft of EOM! phewwww. but i think it's not well done.
been very packed this weeek! and dont feel like going online sometimes.
life's okay. school's okay. not many tests/assignments.
been trying to catch up with revision, deadlines, birthday crashes (ahaha).

oh! monday was a long day for me. it literally felt like 2 days!
in the morning i met rachel at 6am. plan: birthday crash at elynn's house at 7am!
she gave me morning call at 545am. i was like WHY SO EARLY?!?! was supposed to meet at 615 at my house downstairs.
bought her cake and breakfast and birthday crash at her house at 7am!
i think we're very nice to herrrr!

AHH im having flu. i hope it;s not h1n1. D:
sister called me and asked about jovan. jovan is sick. fever, cough.
results will only be out 2 days later.
she told me there are 200 cases in singapore alr. OMG. i didnt know that.
the last time i knew was only 18 cases. and that was like only 2 weeks ago!
i went to school today with my running nose. i tot it was just morn signess (dont know how to spell XD) cos i usually have it in the morn so i tot it was ok.
till like 2pm. i was thinking why am i still having running nose!
arghhh dont like the feeling. i used up more than 30 pieces of tissue paper i koped from macs today. lol.

HELLO PEOPLEEE! im so happy now (:

mid yr is over and holidays are here! although there are still school and cca on some days. but now i can sleep till noon and replenish my lack of sleep the past few weeks. XD
been sleeping for only like 3-4 hrs a day! im soooo glad that i dont have to stress about exams after holidays when other jc friends do. XD

hmm. many things happened for the past few weeks and i havent had the time to blog about them. many thoughts. many tears. many emo moments. but all ended with strength, joy and peace that kept me going till now, and still holding on (:

im just so glad im not conformed in the real world today.
it's hard to be different when everyone else are so into what they want to be
it's harder to reject them. and it's even harder when your friends are also into them. and even even harder when you're getting older. hahaha.

now i understand what my sister used to tell me and what i used to find naggy "you havent seen the real world yet, so you dont know."
there were testings and all but im just so glad im wise enough to know waht is right and wrong
and am able to make the right choice.

hello. :( sad. i miss a lot of things. lately ive been spending a lot of time sorting my thoughts out cos my brain feels like it's gonna burst anytime! too many things.. some irrelevant stuffs. so i havent been having good sleep for the last few days. thinking of many many things. slept for only like 4-5 hrs a day cos i have lots of work to do. not becos tchers gave us alot. but cos i dont have the time! (or maybe im not managing my time well.) so my mind is in a mess now.. school work, CCA, church commitments, family time spending, own time for myself. school alr takes up like 50-75% of my time. the earliest i can reach home is like 430pm! CCA till 7pm, wed & fri. church on weekends. so you see, i dont have time for family and myself. anyway now is march holiday! i missed church camp! :( cos i have to go for dance. if not i wont get to participate in AYG - said by my tcher. sighh. i feel that life is getting out of control for me. like last time i can have choices whether to pon school or go to school (:x) lol. but now i cant. cos i really really have to go schhool, cos it's not sec sch anymore. i guess i just need to place my thoughts on the Lord. so that i wont go the wrong way or choose the wrong choices. i feel weak. but i'll grow stronger when im weak. - such a comforting thought (:

HELLO PEOPLE! back from YC'08! learnt a lot a lot but im lazy to write it down here. XD go read my stone! (for those pple in bethany). the rest if you all want to know then ask me face to face! haha. basically it;s the study of these two verses. "My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness"- 2 cor 12:9 & "i can do all things through Christ who strengthens me". it looks pretty simple but they have deep deep meanings in it. being strong! YC has always been a reflective and productive period for me to learn new stuffs. the msges are always very personal to me and they are things that realy speaks to my heart, like as if God is trying to tell me sth. hello people! IT show job is finally over! but i wish i can continue working. ):
fun. i realised i like working as a sales person. hahaha.
i like the feeling of people buying sth from you cos i get commission! and the feeling of knowing more than your customers, explaining stuffs and everything..
of course i hate those customers who just turned and walked away after i explained everything and after asking so many questions!!!!!!ARGHH.
oh yeah. there was this girl who came on the 1st two days and didnt come on the last two days just becos her other friend is not working anymore. so her pay is divided between me and wk! XD XD
and ah! she likes to snatch my customers and cut in between conversations! arghhhh!
so i gave her black face. and she kinda got the hint and stopped doing that for a while and then continue again. but it was stupid of her to stop working.
but anyway its good cos we get more $! weeeeeeee (:
dont think we'll earn a lot. :( ard 200? although it's not a lot but i dont mind cos i just want the experience. (: wah sounds so nice of me. XD

every night when i bathe right, i can feel my body's aching.

so after our four days of hard work at expo It show, we went to eat supper at chomp chomp! me, joline, weekiat, dick, aaron. (:
had a hard time going there. thanks to dick who said that bus 35 can go to serangoon gardens. yeah we ended up in toa payoh and had to take cab down to chompchomp.
starving like anything! everyday we had to eat dinner at like 10 plus after work cos they only provide lunch. packet lunches were surprisingly nice.
so yah, we reached chomp chomp at like 1 plus am? super late cos we had to pack all the things and debriefing and all. ordered hell loads! like 10 over dishes! niceeee foooddd!
XD finished everything in like less than 1 hour. i guess that was our reward for our hard work. (:

SO FAST SO FAST. O LEVEL IS GOING TO END SOON. 3 MORE PAPERS! (not counting MCQ) - maths paper 2, bio, ss.

XD. still rmb how much i panicked before O lvl started. and now it's gg to end soon! omg time flies~ surprisingly, i wasn't at all scared for any papers during the exam, or not yet. hahah. but before that i was like super nervous becos everyone else was. so kinda affected by them too. but when i received the paper, i dontknow why i didnt feel anything. God's grace XD oh i prayed for peace and wisdom before every paper. so God has answered my prayers. (:

so how were the papers?

chem- tricky, unique, quite easy, but a lot of careless!
eng- okay.... compre kinda hard but manageable. just hope my compo is not out of point.
amaths paper 1- 6 marks gone. but ok afterall.
geog- hmm. kinda difficult. cos we've never encounter some of the qns before.
maths paper 1- some say easy, some say hard. i think it's an average paper.
amaths paper 2- tricky! unique qns. 2-5 marks gone.

anyways, special thanks for all who've sent me goodluck msgs! LOVE YOU ALL.

hi (: wow. it's been very very very long since i last logged in to blogger! actually felt weird typing blogger.com. hahaha. the whole thing has changed! hmm thats how long i've been MIA in blogs. hmm.

so how's my life? pretty okay, now. and i hope i'll be rejoicing after that with good results. and i wanna cry my heart out on fri! left 5 days of school. mannnzxzxx, im gonna miss you'all! prelim2 was a smooth one. at least for me. 20pts is kinda okay for me alr i guess. not bad eh! compare to prelim1. omgosh 31pts. where can i go with that kind of results? hahah. and it's seriously seriously not easy to jump 11 pts. i didnt know how i got through this, perhaps God is working with me. (: thinking about it, i really wanna thank Him, and of course my fellow friends and classmates who sent msgs, small gifts, small lil actions that encourages me to work really hard. (: i think im so blessed with many nice things around me. i wanna list them out!

1. God. he's my best friend man! XD he provides me with a healthy body, strong mind, peace, strength, wisdom and everything that i need!

2. siblings. for buying tibits, snacks and asking whether i need anything everytime. even some words of concern about my studies encourages me to fight my way through the day with sickening hmks and mock examssss and blahblahblabh. thanks a lot really, although i didnt express it out, but deep down im really thankful for you all!

3. teachers! specifically mr imran and ms soh. i appreciate the lil note given by ms soh before her maternity leave. though it may be just a piece of paper for others, but it means a lot to me. not every teacher will do that. and that's sth special about ms soh. (; i miss her! lotsszzxz. mr imran! he's like the coolest teacher! i like his way of teaching (: especially during the truncated timetable. so diff from other teachers. really. (: very effective. and of course, i think we all share a special bond with him. i think the whole class will agree, or maybe those closer to him. his words speaks to our hearts. and i wanna thank him for letting me have this special friendship with a teacher. (: rock on!

4. joline bestie! i think she wont see this, until after O lvl cos her comp spoilt. is it? hahah. hmm i think her smses encourages me. though whatever the situation may be, her sms will never fail to end with a jiayou behind! hahah. she somehow gives me a sense of joy when im with her. i think we share a special friendship too. 4 yrs of friendships, there have been ups and downs. misunderstandings, unforgiveness etc etc. but hey, that doesnt affect our friendship. it still stays so strong. though we dont usually clique tgt, but i know and she knows that we're each other bestie. and that's sth amazing i feel. and moreover, i think friends are pple who needs to be close knitted, but dont have to hang around everytime tgt. we could just continue from where we left, and this will bring in more topics to talk about, dont you agree? (:

5. classmates. each and every one of you all. for your laughter and jovial attitude towards O lvl. seriously i think 4e1'08 is a very wacky and bubbly class. no matter how serious the situation may be, we'll still be wearing a smile on our faces. though it may not be appropriate at times.. hahah but you get what i mean right? lol. but we lack unity, at times. but 4e1'08 will forever be etched in my heart. i will rmb all the good and bad times we all went through tgt, every single bit. and i hope you all will rmb me! invite me to all your weddings k! i'll miss you all really badly. thanks for impacting my life, each and every one of you. till we meet again, someday, sometime, on the streets maybe. 6. people in church! really. i wanna thank them! for being concerned about my studies. and offering to help with certain subjects (: though they're not paid, but they're still as willling to come back to church on a weekday, night, after the lng and tiring workday just to teach us. they can choose not to, but they still carry on. that's what i like about bethany. where God is touching lives and pple care for pple. :( sad. having monday blues. today's the last day of holiday! AND TMR IS THE START OF BLOCK TEST WEEK.
i hate it when we have tests after school. spoil the mood. :/ but im glad that the topics are not as many as those in prelims and some are retests! Thank God. (:

im extremely happy that i cleaned my study tables ytd! yes, tableS. i spent a total of 3 hours clearing two tables and vacuum the whole house.
felt so accomplised and itchy all over my body cos of all the dust accumulated for like months?
but anw i concluded that a clean environment to study = will study more. XD

ytd i was helping my 2nd sister to do some posters for her church's flea market. and i realised that my design and hers are totally different!
hers is more of patterns and shapes and mine is more of scribblesss. hahah. laughing all the way cos i think it's funny. i tot usually only kids draw shapes? HAHA. okay. but the end product was nice (: really. looks as if it's printed.
whooo~ i think our family has many talents. haha.

i always feel like i have to stop the things im doing. cos although i like the things im doing, but it's not gonna do any good cos you have many other things you need to complete. and it's not easy to reject all those temptations. :/ :/

4 hours of bio class can really kill me! almost died. but anw im glad it's OVER. after last day of intensive class (WEEEEE!), we all went to sgpost to makan and catch up with one another. sp, eudora, rach and i. :D
hahah! funny thing is they didnt know how to order subway. and eudora had a hard time eating her sandwich cos she asked the person to put mustard when she doesnt like it. HAHA! funny la she. (:

yest we went out to watch KUNGFU PANDA.
been wanting to watch so badly especially te. hahah first time saw him being so enthu in movies and outings! and yesterday was the first time i saw him wear long sleeves collar shirt. WOW. extreme makeover man. hahah.
oh yeah, aaron wore long sleeves too. and johnny wore something quite formal too. only joline, leo and i were casually dressed.
and and, they didnt want to go food court and eat cos of their dressing -.- so we went to somewhere more HIGH CLASS, long john. lol.
ohh and then te saw all my photos in my phone when me and joline went to buy our food. omgosh! okay joline asked me whether i felt as if my secrets have been revealed or sth like that. haha.
anw it's not some kind of act cute photos or what la. just some funny photos of myself that i wont let some pple or anyone see, depends who (:

4e1 mini class outing on 030608! supposed to be on last friday but too many pple couldnt make it.
yeah! afternoon-night cycling. super fun! i think it's the best class outing ever man. although we were all like half dead.
we cycled 28km! around there. from ECP to Changi beach and back again. (:
and you know what? we cycled to Changi beach just to use the toilet there -.-
rested for a while and off we cycled back to ECP, NONSTOP. cos we were running out of time alr.
had lotsa fun singing, chatting, enjoying the breeze, enjoying each other's nonsense while cycling :D
ohh! the rental was cheap that day cos of Uncle Scorpion. hahah! 3 hrs for $6 plus one bottle of pokka drink (: cool right.

and then we were so shocked that we shared the same thoughts about what we like to draw and stuffs like that. just that she likes to draw manga/anime characters but i dont like. haha.

went to SCHOOL OF DESIGN building. and omgosh! the video clips, drawings and stuffs are sth that i can never come out with man, or maybe after i graduate from poly, and provided if i go into this course la. hahah.

i went to SAJC ytd! for games day. (: saw this quote outside the hall i think: You are not here by chance. i was like wowww. hahah.
the hall was airconed but we were still sweating, and we had a banana captains ball. ball replaced with bananas and it's super gross ok. banana thrown everywhere, squashed! and by the time you know it, you will get a banana split. hahah. so the hall smelt like bananas. haha! XD

then sister jio us out for kbox session. so we went to angmokio kbox with siblings and sang for 5 hours! omgosh. super exxx! $155 for 5 people, after 15% discount somemore. :/
but once in a while la. :D by the time we came out, it's like alr 1230am.
so cabbed home cos we missed the last bus.
ohh and it's a good time to hear your own siblings sing. hahah! i think our family have nice voices. haha!

i watched just my luck, again, ytdytd i think cos i forgotten the story and the other time emelia and the rest kept talking about it. i didnt know Mcfly was in that show. ahah.

went out with friends to the new shopping mall at downtown east on friday! okay, it is supposed to be an early birthday celebration for sp, but so many pple last minute backout. so i think in the end it turned out to be a usual outing :/ ohh and aaron and justin wanted to wear something nicer that day. and i didnt know their NICER is like so much diff la! hahah. vest plus tie? oO.

hahah today im so broke that i didnt eat the whole day. wallet left with 60 cents after going out so many times this week. and didnt claim money from papa.
and also, no one was at home except for my bro who literally slept the whole afternoon. checked his wallet and he is as broke as me. so i searched the whole house and i found $1.50. hahah. so i had $2.10 with me. i bought zero coke instead of food cos i was craving for that. left with $1 in my wallet now. (:
called papa at 6pm and asked him to buy me dinner. so now im waiting for him to come back! with my empty stomach.
